ENTREBLUE

Work plan · 24 months

Six work packages,
one innovation journey

From institutional transformation to talent, a shared digital platform and acceleration pilots, each work package builds on the one before it.

How it fits together

A connected work plan

ENTREBLUE is organised into six work packages. Project management (WP1) and communication (WP6) run across the whole project, while WP2 to WP5 build on each other: from transforming the universities to developing talent, launching the Integration Labs platform and running the acceleration pilots.

The work packages

What each work package delivers

WP1

Lead partner
UPRC

Duration
M1–M24

Project management & administration

Keeps the project on track: coordination and reporting, quality assurance, risk, data and IPR management, and an external advisory board for each university ecosystem.

WP2

Lead partner
USTRATH

Duration
M1–M24

IVAP institutionalisation via institutional modernisation and HEInnovate-driven skills ecosystem orchestration

Prepares the partner universities to become entrepreneurial and engaged institutions through strategic foresight, maritime STEM skills ecosystem mapping and HEInnovate-based transformation, and sets up an ENTREBLUE alliance so the action plans (IVAPs) continue after the project.

WP3

Lead partner
CMU

Duration
M3–M24

Upskilling & talent development for IVAP operationalisation

Develops 10 innovation and entrepreneurship microcredentials for maritime STEM, trains and certifies more than 6,000 learners online and in person, and offers mentorship to around 10% of them.

WP4

Lead partner
C4S

Duration
M3–M24

Women-led maritime STEM innovation acceleration & growth digital platform (IEIL)

Designs and builds the Inclusive Ecosystem Integration Labs: a web platform with the microcredentials, mentors, investors, 40+ maritime companies and shared infrastructures, plus six physical IEILs at the mentored universities and a launch event at each of them.

WP5

Lead partner
USN

Duration
M9–M24

Acceleration & growth pilots

Puts everything into practice: hybrid internships for 60 students, an open call for at least 30 startups and innovators (at least half women and under-represented groups), nine-month acceleration pilots and policy recommendations.

WP6

Lead partner
DTB

Duration
M1–M24

Communication, dissemination & exploitation

Makes ENTREBLUE visible inside and beyond the EIT HEI community: dissemination strategy, a behavioural change campaign for STEM learners, citizen science actions and skills awards, including the Women in maritime tech/STEM awards.
